Applications are now open for MRISJ’s Alternative Break program! 

This year MRISJ is offering four different week-long experiences over spring break, March 7-14, 2026:

  •  Advocacy, Policy & Storytelling (Massachusetts)
  •  Civil Rights & Restorative Justice (Selma, AL)
  •  Community Health & Wellness (Williamson, WV)
  •  Food Justice & Housing Insecurity (Washington, D.C.)

Current BSU undergraduate students are invited to apply now and spend their spring break with MRISJ!

The priority deadline for applications is Monday, October 20 by 4pm. Applicants who submit their materials by this deadline will receive a response about their application status by November 7. Applications received after the priority deadline will be accepted on a rolling basis until all places have been filled.
