In this intensely cinematic film, bats are rendered poetically visible: spectacularly streaming out of caves or bridges, or cradled in a gloved hand, wings extended. This film follows a team of scientists trying to save bats from the deadly White-nose Syndrome, which is putting North American bats at threat of extinction.

At once a nature film, a science film, and a character-driven adventure film, "The Invisible Mammal" will immerse you in the world of bats and forever change the way you feel about these amazing little creatures.

5:30 PM - DMF Atrium

Enjoy a welcome reception with bat-themed snacks, research equipment and specimen displays from BSUNH, and fun facts about the world’s 1,500 bat species.
